| April 10: Wind was steady out of
the ESE at 10knots. About as steady as we've seen it all winter! Bob got
off to a rousing start with a wire to wire win. Then Peter showed his stuff
with two wins. Then it was Paul, and not to be outdone, brother Doug. Said
Doug, "When you end the season with a win, you forget about all the rest
of the races during the season." Hans spun some good ones today and had
to provide in-race guidance to those of us who could not understand his Yogi
Berra courses. Nelson would have none of his coaching and protested the
fleet but nobody would hear the protest or be witnesses against themselves.
Nobody finished last more than once today, which shows how even the
competition is. See y'all next season. |
