Boating Seminar for April 22, 2010

In celebration of Earth Day, I am very pleased to announce that we’ve got Steve D’Hondt Ph.D from the URI Graduate School of Oceanography coming.

The ocean covers 71 percent of the Earth's surface and contains 97 percent of the planet's water. So, what happens when it becomes overly acidic?

You’ll all enjoy Steve’s easy style and informative presentation. His research groups participate in expeditions throughout the world, but his home is here in North Kingstown where he looks out at Fishing Cove and Wickford harbor.

The program starts promptly at 7:30, but the doors open at 7 pm for a casual meet & greet. Light refreshments will be served.
