SAVE THE DATE, WEDNESDAY November 16

“Rare Marine Life in New England Waters” is the subject of our November seminar. Our guest speaker will be Todd McLeish from URI. He will speak about some of the most endangered marine life in New England waters, including sharks, whales, seabirds, turtles and fish. His slide presentation will be based on his latest book, Basking With Humpbacks, and will include facts about these creatures as well as stories from his field experiences. He spent much of last summer in northern Greenland and northern Canada conducting research on narwhals, the Arctic whale.

Our program will begin at 7:30 PM at the Yacht Club. We will gather at 7:00 PM for a social hour to meet and greet Todd McLeish.
